This is primarily a mobile home park with one street dedicated to short stay RVers. It's clean and well maintained, with a nice pool, a community center, and large laundry room. Staff is friendly. On the negative side, there is constant road noise but that's a given with any convenient RV park in a big city.
Friday I went to the office as soon as it opened and attempted to pay with cash and was told they would not accept cash, only check or money order.
I arrived on a Wednesday. I attempted to check in and was informed by Jill that credit cards were not accepted. She was very helpful and assisted in parking my camper.
Thursday I contacted our daughter, who lives in Denver, she gave us cash to pay for site rental. I visited the office four times to pay for the site. The office was closed.
I told them we had family activities all day Friday and would not be returning until after office hours.
Absolutely horrible experience. They rented us a spot they didn't have available. Then moved us to a mobile site. Roomy enough but not set-up for RV (water and sewer underneath the rig). Also threatened us with a $4000 repair if we broke the water or sewer even though that was how we had to park. We parked on the concrete pad instead of over the hook-ups. The grounds manager (really full of himself) threw us out as violators. Do not stay here. It is not an RV Park
A man came to our door on Sunday. And I gave him payment with a check. I asked for a receipt, since I didn't know who he was. He replied I might get a receipt after a period of time, since it took me so long too pay.
I have been staying here since June 1 for work. Fabulous place. Excellent management. I will stay here again if work brings me back to Denver.
When we travel we do not take a checkbook. We returned the money to our daughter and she gave us a check for the site rent.
The office was not open Saturday or Sunday. I was waiting for the office to open on Monday so I could pay.
Quiet, nicely maintained, no dogs and folks over 55. Loving it thus far!!!
The man very rudely stated he could do anything he wanted and he would put me on his "black list".
i knocked on the door and asked the man why he was so rude, since I had made several attempts to pay. He YELLED something about it not being free, Jill was YELLING and pointing at a sign on the wall behind her desk. With both YELLING at THE SAME TIME I turned around and walked out.
I approached the office door and overheard Jill and a man in a very heated discussion. It was clear they were angry and shouting. I could hear them very clearly outside.
I let him get out of sight, then followed him making sure he went to the office.
As I left I mentioned to the man that it was illegal not to accept cash in the U.S. which was told to me by another camper, who had experienced the same treatment by these folks.
