Today I spoke with a man, Josh. ACE did work for 2 of our rentals last spring. One job was gone but things that they agreed to fix weren't. We paid 8/6/16. I got another bill for the other but there were also unfinished repairs. Like handles our houses. I wanted an adjustment for items unfinished. Never received a response. The money was put into an acct. for the house. Fast forward, Friday we received a demand letter. This was for a even greater amount. I called 8/25/17 at 9:25 and spoke to Kathy. She informed me that Mike was gone, things were less then up to date on his accounts. I told her we were ready to pay but had questions on the amount and unfinished work. There was a second amount requested after the first total was given. I just wanted to know what the extra repairs were for, and when they were done. I was pretty much informed we were deadbeats (?)and he was going to sue and put a lean. The more questions the more upset he got. We sent the check earlier this week. We probably will Never know what extra work they did. The funny thing on all this is the house is changed owners 7 months back. The sales pitch was great after that good luck. Old people ask too many questions just skim the insurance companies. One more thing I've made an appointment to see Denver OG.
I am very dissatisfied with this company. Three separate times they said they would be here and did not show up. Nor did they call to say they would not be here. I had to call to tell them the job was unsatisfactory. They didn't show up when scheduled, then they only fixed half of what they did wrong. I am not calling again to get more promises that don't come true. I want another company to fix their mess and finish the job. I have called my insurance company to see what my options are and I hope they are better at communication than Ace. However, they are dealing with Hurricane Andrew claims and the recording said they were experiencing very high volume.
Yes, the roof is on but was the wrong color. The guy who set up the job "No longer works for the company. We haven't seen him in weeks and he isn't answering his phone. It happens". The new guy I spoke with says the color on the contract was changed... mine wasn't. After much confusion, calls, emails, and letters, they made good on all our requests and addressed all our concerns. Talk to Mike. He's a good man.
Just bought a house and I went in knowing the roof needed replacement. After a recommendation from a neighbor I called. Right from the start they were pleasant to work with. They went over roofing options, showed up on time, got the job done quickly but still correctly. All in all a good experience working with this company and a definite recommendation from me to use them.
We have a problem with people soliciting at our house and have specifically a no soliciting sign (which this business ignored and continued to leave things on front of our door trying to solicit our home) Hopefully in the future this business learns to respect the requests of others
