There was a strong odor of Marijuana outside my rental in Englewood the tenant would not let me enter. I do not allow marijuana in the home and I felt the tenant had a growth operation in the home. I called for a citizens assist Office Atkinson and Office Hartmann responded and made the tenant allow me in. The tenant was growing so I was able to evict him before there was more damage. The officers were very helpful and respectful. We are very lucky to have men like this to protect us.

Here is a pic, one of many who txt and drive please keep us safe from these law breakers. I will continue to post pics. Got another one w/phone to head!

Original person who answered the phone was not friendly but once I got to the records department that young lady was very helpful. I had my purse stolen and because of Labor Day weekend the report had not yet been processed but she said she would write the case number down and make sure that it was processed ahead of schedule. Very helpful!

I am all for Blue Lives matter 100% however, I am disappointed with the way englewood police handled my case. I was involved in a hit and run at a Wal-Mart in englewood. I was inside, a vehicle hit my jeep and destroyed the back and right side. The person had left a note with a number that was disconnected. However, a p.i. found out who the number was registered to , these people have had the number since 2009. There was also witnesses who have emailed me and called in tips to the police station. The p.i. got these people's address and of course the red Ford suv that hit the vehicle, also on camera is registered to this address. When the info was given to the station they, ignored it. the officer investigating it, had told me, " he went to those people's house, when asked if they hit the jeep, they said no." And that the vehicles at their home didn't look like they would have hit the jeep. When the p.i. went to the home all vehicle there were scratched, dinged, etc. apparently, you can commit a crime and say it wasn't you, and thats that. Horrible work, and rude station.

Banged on my window (that is right next to my door), the other night without announcing themselves, seemed annoyed I didn't respond (because what sane person would), shone their flashlight through my window finally announcing themselves (still not knocking on the door like a normal person), all to tell me they think my TV was too loud. I've lived in the same place for over 2 years and no one has ever complained. And my TV is right by the window. They need to find something better to do and stop fishing for probably cause to harass law abiding citizens whose taxes pay their salaries.
