A multi-generation, family-owned and run business that has the best French pastries and bread in Denver. They provide bread and pastries and numerous coffee shops and restaurants around town, which is a testament to the quality of their product. I drive from NW Denver on a regular basis just to pick up croissants and a variety of other items, and have been doing so now for numerous years, including when they were just a hole-in-the-wall just west of Denver University. Their new location is much more spacious and can better accommodate the crowds that line-up, especially on Saturdays. Reasonably priced as well, considering the typical level of bread and pastries they turn out. One thing they might be able to improve upon is their selection of gluten-free items, but this might not be realistically possible for the space they have. Definitely a Denver Destination!
We're so lucky to have Trompeau! They have delicious savory French baked goods. My favorites are the quiches. My kids love the croissants. And the bread is so good, my daughter insisted on spending her allowance on her own loaf!
Always love Trompeau for wonderful treats that melt in the mouth. I bug them by asking what just came out. Mouth watering just thinking about it.
One of the best bakery's/ coffee shops you can possibly find, plus different baked items everyday. Blessed to live within walking distance. Seriously if this place goes under because they don't have enough customers I'll be pissed, so GO HERE! lol
